Default Mass Interruption skills combo?

Practiced Stance/Choking Gas vs. Barrage/Wailing Weapon.

Is the first superior for the purpose of mass interruption? I can't think of a reason for using Barrage/Wailing Weapon (due to the short duration of WW). But while browsing Guildwiki, found Wailing Weapon a very interesting skill.

What do you all think?

Wouldn't Warmongers Weapon be more appropriate?

If I had to choose between those two, I'd go with Barrage and Wailing Weapon. Wailing Weapon interrupts all attacks while choking gas interrupts those casting spells. If you have 16 in expertise, both will end up costing 5 Eng (since WW is a spell and is unaffected by Expertise). Both choices will in terms affect that target and those adjacent, so I think it just comes down to whether you want to for just spells or all attacks. Warmonger's Weapon is a pretty handy skill to have too.

I keep misinterpretting whether "attacks" in Guildwiki descriptions include offensive spells, or only skill-related/melee attacks.

Is this correct then....Warmonger's weapon is more to interrupt casters, whereas WW is more to interrupt non-casting attack skills (i.e., warriors etc)?

Wailing + Barrage does seem like an interesting combo, but you will have more downtime and will be doing less interuptions per second against spells since you will not be able to run a decent IAS with this build unless you have a support rit to cast Wailing on you. Personally, I'd rather focus on interupting spells and have Practiced + Choking + Flurry to help me do it.

Practiced Stance + Choking Gas would be my choice:
1. WW has a 25 second recharge and active only 8~10 seconds.
2. PS/CG can be kept up at all times
3. IAS PS/CG can interrupt every 1.33 seconds, Barrage fires at 2-2.5 second intervals
4. PS/CG does it's work even when blocked and - to some extend - obstructed

Wailing Weapon + Barrage does look promising for use against melee types.
